UNISON local government members in England, Wales and Northern Ireland to be consulted in new year on employer’s final offer
It’s shocking that so many people in jobs are still struggling financially and living in poverty.
The unions are putting the offer to their committees for consideration

UNISON is campaigning for a fair deal on pay for local government workers. Council and school workers voted for strike action for fair pay. Local government workers in England, Wales and Northern Ireland voted for action after rejecting the employers’ pay offer of just 1%. A strike day took place on 10 July 2014.
