The national conference of UNISON’s local government group, to discuss issues and set policy affecting members working in the local government sector.

The venue
For more than 30 years, the council-run Brighton Centre has been a favourite UK venue for exhibitions, conferences, trade fairs, public shows, product launches, banquets and live entertainment. For more information, see the Brighton Centre’s website.
Travel arrangements
Branches are asked to book all travel arrangements for conference through Stewart Corporate Travel. Travel application forms will be attached to the forthcoming conference bulletin.
Travel costs for delegates will be funded nationally; travel costs for visitors must be paid for by the branch.
Branches are responsible for funding their delegates’ and visitors’ attendance at conference. Subsistence should cover the cost of accommodation, meals, childcare, dependent care and facilitation.

All requests will be dealt with on a first come first served basis. Please note that more accommodation may become available so please check the online site for up-to-date availability. Please note that bookings can still be taken after 10 May 2014 but we cannot guarantee rates or availability after this time.
