UNISON branches across the UK continue to have their facility time threatened and cut, and with the election of the Conservative majority government these attacks may well get worse.
As a part of UNISON’s continuing efforts to help branches and regions fight facility time cuts – and cope following a cut – we have produced a revised guide to facility time, with substantial additions.
To accompany this guide, a short factsheet has also been produced. It introduces some of the key sources of funding available to branches. Branches are urged to read this factsheet, and carefully consider the options available when facility time is cut.
