Setting sail to break the siege of Gaza
(22/07/08) On 5 August a flotilla of ships will set sail from Cyrus to Gaza in a bid to break the siege, now in its 11th month, which is causing starvation and denial of access to medical care amongst other humanitarian disasters.
The Free Gaza Movement
www.freegaza.org, a non-violent civil resistance movement, is coordinating the brigade. They are asking for donations to enable them to buy boats (commercial fishing boats and cruise vessels). Of the $300k needed they have already raised over $200k.
