The NHS KSF is a system for describing the knowledge and skills that NHS staff need to apply in their work. It is one of the three key strands within Agenda for Change. These are:

The NHS KSF and development review process is about lifelong learning. The Agenda for Change national agreement includes a commitment to introduce a system of annual development reviews and to create development opportunities of all staff.
