Prentis to address meeting on resisting Trade Union Bill

UNISON general secretary Dave Prentis will be among the speakers at a public meeting tomorrow on resisting the Trade Union Bill.

The meeting, which has been organised by the Campaign for Trade Union Freedom, the Institute of Employment Rights, the Centre for Labour and Social Studies and the People’s Assembly, will be the labour movement’s first major response to the Bill.

It will take place in the Mander Hall at the NUT, Mabledon Place, London WC1H at 6pm. Admission is free and all are welcome.

The platform will also include John Hendy QC, Professor Keith Ewing and other trade union leaders.
