UNISON’s autumn recruitment campaign continues to break records.
In the week beginning 7 October, 4,358 new members were recruited into the union, making it the third most successful week of the year. Its figures are also an impressive 22% up on the same week last year.
Such success reflects the work of regions, branches and activists, who are taking the campaign into workplaces across the UK.
At the same time, TV adverts are running again on national and satellite TV, alongside adverts and advertorials in the Metro nationwide, and Google paid search online.
The ads started on 23 September and will run through to November.
