Registration is now open for the UNISON 2013 healthcare assistant seminar

The seminar will be packed with opportunities to help develop your practice, such as mini master classes on topics like end of life care and dementia.

Both days will feature experts from across the country speaking on the issues most relevant to your role, such as regulation and training.

Workshops will address what your branch can do during these challenging times where workers across the country face down-banding, erosion of their terms and conditions and the threat of redundancy.

There will be plenty of time for networking as well, including Monday night’s sit-down dinner and after-dinner entertainment.

The cost of the seminar is £210 per person for UNISON members. This covers two days’ programmes of events, accommodation on Monday 11 November, all meals, and the mini master classes. All members of the nursing and social care family are invited to attend. The rate for non-members is £250 per person, although individuals are encouraged to join UNISON now and receive the discounted rate. Rates without accommodation and with additional nights (£110 per night) are also available.

Branch officers can register delegates here. Registration closes 1 October 2013. Please note that registration cannot be confirmed until payment has been received.
