UNISON housing activists gather in Manchester

UNISON housing activists from all over the country gathered in central Manchester on 15 March to learn from each other and debate key issues facing housing association workers.

The fight to safeguard jobs with decent terms and conditions is happening all over the country, and defending pensions is a high priority.

But activists are also campaigning for a living wage for all staff; for contracts to be fully funded so transfers don’t just mean pay cuts; for proper protection against violence and aggression at work; and a host of other issues.
