Settled status – time is running out

If you are an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen living and working in the UK, you need to make sure you have applied for settled status before 30 June

Time runs out for EU migrant workers to secure their future in the UK  on 30 June.

The settlement scheme ensures that EU, EEA and Swiss citizens and their family members will secure their immigration status to continue to live and work in the UK after Brexit.

If you do not apply by the deadline, you might lose your legal rights to live, work and access healthcare and education in the UK. It is very important to make sure that you have applied by 30 June.

If your legal right to be in the UK depends on an EU/EEA/Swiss citizen, you also need to apply to the settled status scheme.

If you aren’t an EU/EEA/Swiss citizen but have colleagues, friends and neighbours who are, please help spread the word.

To drive applications and make sure nobody is left behind, the charity Settled has launched its campaign #EUask5. The campaign aims to reach every European in the UK before they lose their rights on 1 July. Find more information here.
