UNISON launches survey of chief officers and senior managers in local government

Local government chief officers and senior managers: help us represent and campaign on your behalf by completing our survey

UNISON is urging chief officers and senior managers working in local government to complete an online survey on a range of issues.

The survey seeks to identify changes since the previous survey in August 2013.

Head of local government Heather Wakefield said: “Whether you are a UNISON member or not, on JNC, NJC or local terms and conditions, we want to hear your views on the issues of hours of work, workload and stress.

“We want to make sure that our activities representing and campaigning on behalf of chief officers and senior managers are geared towards the priorities of the people doing the work. This survey will therefore play a vital role in ensuring we’re focusing on the right things.”

The survey should only take a few minutes to complete, can be completed anonymously and closes on 2 October. If you would like a hard copy of the survey posted to you, please email Marilyn Bailey at m.bailey@unison.co.uk.
