UNISON General Secretary, Dave Prentis, today (4 January) announced that the union would be making an initial donation of £10,000 to the Disasters Emergency Committee. And he has earmarked a further £10,000 for support for sister trade unions in the area affected to help them rebuild their organisations after the disaster.
