Our Motions

The National Black Members’ Committee submitted two motions to National Delegate Conference (NDC).

Meetings for Black Members

There will be two caucus meetings for Black members at NDC –

Tuesday 13 June, 5:15pm – 6:15pm. Hall 2L

Wednesday 14 June, 12:45pm – 1:15pm. Hall 2L

Come along to discuss the conference agenda and national Priorities for Black members.

Year of Black Workers Fringe Meeting

Our fringe meeting will take place on Thursday 15 June at 5:15pm – Hall 2L

Speakers including Gloria Mills (National Secretary Equalities), Dr Neville Lawrence, Weyman Bennett and Kim Johnson (MP), will be examining the inequalities Black workers continue to face and how to practically challenge these disparities. The fringe will also be launching the Year of Black Workers toolkit.

Our Delegation

Kebba Manneh (National Black Members’ Committee Chair) and Lola Oyewusi (National Black Members’ Committee Labour Link Caucus Officer) are the two elected delegates for National Black Members’. They will be facilitating the meetings for Black members, the fringe, and helping on the Year of Black Workers stall. They look forward to representing you.
