Academies - defend your school

UNISON has grave concerns about the fragmentation and privatisation of our school system and is firmly opposed to the academies programme. Instead, we believe in good, local schools that are part of a national comprehensive education system and which are accountable to local communities.
What to do if your local school is thinking of becoming an academy:
