UNISON general secretary Dave Prentis will be speaking at a special NHS election rally tomorrow (Thursday) night in Leeds.
The future of the NHS is a key issue ahead of the general election on 7 May and one of UNISON’s three election themes.
Joining Dave Prentis will be Labour’s shadow health secretary Andy Burnham, veteran NHS campaigner Harry Leslie Smith, prospective parliamentary candidates and even Coronation Street actor Ian Pulseton-Davies. And there will be more surprise guests appearing on the night.
Organised by Unions Together, the rally takes place on April 23 from 5.30pm at Victoria Hall, Leeds Town Hall.
