UNISON has produced new recruitment materials focusing on two important and growing areas: homecare workers and apprentices.
There is a brand new Essential Cover recruitment leaflet for each group, buidling on the core messages of the union’s national recruitment campaign, but with an emphawsis on some of the key issues and concerns for homecare workers and apprentices.
These leaflets should help branches recruit among these workers.
We have also produced a How to recruit guide for homecare workers and another for apprentices.
Designed to help members recruit their colleagues, they give advice on how to prepare to talk to colleagues to persuade them to join the union, and some ideas on the kinds of things members should say to get their colleagues to join.
They combine general UNISON-wide information with specific information about UNISON’s work among homecare workers and apprentices.
