Human Rights Tour 2013

The British Institute of Human Rights is hosting a series of free events on human rights as part of its annual Human Rights Tour.

The tour will visit 17 towns and cities across the UK, hosting events in partnership with a range of voluntary and public sector organisations.

Each event will explore why you need human rights and why human rights need you. This will include an introduction to human rights law, the practical application of human rights in your work and the current political debates on human rights in the UK.

Human rights underpin UNISON’s approach to fighting cuts to essential services, equalities, international solidarity and collective trade union rights.

For more information about these events including dates and locations, and to book your place, please visit the Institute’s website.
