UNISON’s long campaign to end the two-tier workforce has finally been won. The union has secured an agreement that falls into line with the one signed in local government more than 2 years ago.

“Ending the two-tier workforce has always been a defining issue for me with this government and I am delighted that the Prime Minister’s promise to UNISON has finally been honoured. It is clear evidence that the work done at Warwick in the Summer has borne fruit.
