UNISON General Secretary, Dave Prentis, has written to every local government member in England, Wales and Scotland urging them to vote yes in the strike ballot over pensions. Balloting began at the end of last week and closes on 9 March. First strike day is scheduled for 23 March.
In the letter, he says:
