Speaking ahead of the start of the Labour Party annual conference today (Saturday) in Brighton, UNISON general secretary Dave Prentis said:
“The sole focus this week should be on taking the fight to Boris Johnson.
“What we need at this time is unity and a focus on winning the upcoming election.
“Anything else is a betrayal of UNISON members and working people everywhere – all of whom are relying on us to deliver a Labour government.”

– UNISON is the UK’s largest union, with more than 1.3 million members providing public services – in education, local government, the NHS, police service and energy. They are employed in both the public and private sectors.
