Identifying the extent to which theatre support workers seek opportunities to become Operating Department Practitioners
Invitation to take part in a focus group for theatre support workers
Introduction
The College of Operating Department Practitioners (CODP) and Unison, through funding from Health Education England (HEE), has commissioned Allied Health Solutions to identify the extent to which theatre support workers seek opportunities to become Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) and be a potential supply line to increase the number of ODPs. The project will include identification of the enablers and the barriers to achieving this. The project will take place from December 2020 with completion in November 2021.

As part of this project, we are keen to capture your views as a theatre support worker on:
- Barriers and enablers to progressing to become an operating department practitioner.
