UNISON’s young members’ weekend brings together more than 100 young members from across the UK to find out more about the union and, more importantly, how they can play a part in the union’s campaigning to defend public services.

Weekend costs – including accommodation, meals, travel, childcare and other appropriately incurred expenses – will be met by UNISON.

The venue
The Mercure Sheffield St Pauls Hotel and Spa is a contemporary 4-star venue with unrivalled views of the vibrant city centre, featuring modern meeting facilities for up to 700 delegates plus a spa, indoor pool and fully equipped gym.

Weekend costs – including accommodation, meals, travel, childcare and other appropriately incurred expenses – will be met by UNISON.
Who should attend
Members wishing to attend must be under 27 years of age on 19 May.
Each region is entitled to send up to 10 young members, with each region’s group being at least 50% young women. Priority is also urged for first time attenders and those from traditionally-disadvantaged groups.
