March and ‘fun filled family festival’ organised by UNISON-supported campaign to keep full accident and emergency services at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary in West Yorkshire.
The march will assemble at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary in Lindley, Huddersfield, and march to the Funday Sunday festival for an afternoon of music, dancing and stalls in Greenhead Park.
The event aims to mobilise opposition to proposals by the Calderrdale and Greater Huddersfield CCGs to downgrade A&E at the Huddersfield hospital, with specialist emergency care concentrated in the neighbouring town of Halifax.
