Our public services are under major threat.  Our members are working under extreme pressure but actively campaigning for services and jobs. 

UNISON Yorkshire & Humberside Region is looking for a permanent local organiser to support its organising agenda.  The successful candidates will recruit new members and work with regional organising teams, mapping membership density and campaigning to develop new activists. To undertake this role you will need to demonstrate an understanding of the trade union movement and previous experience as a recruiter, organiser and campaigner within a similar organisation would be an advantage.

You will need to be prepared to travel within the region as required including to our regional office in Leeds and also to London on an occasional basis for training or other purposes.
