Many members may not realise that UNISON offers financial help with learning costs – but the union can support members in their studies in a number of ways.
Members can apply to the UNISON bursary scheme for help with course fees or course costs for:
- trade union and labour studies courses and women’s studies courses;
- general non-vocational education; and
- vocational education relevant to work in the public services.
To find out more – including full details of the support available in 2014 and an application form - visit the learning pages of this website, or contact UNISON’s learning and organising services team at learningandorganising@unison.co.uk or by phone at 0207 121 5116.
