Registration fees

Conference
2013 Health Care Service Group Conference
Date
14 December 2012
Decision
Carried as Amended

Conferences notes with concern the Francis Review’s recommendation that more health staff become registered with registrant bodies and is concerned that members who are suffering from the third year of a pay freeze could face an additional cost of registration fees.

Conference therefore calls on the National Service Group Executive to mount a campaign for NHS employers to meet the cost of registration fees initially for those on Band 4 or below and to review further the impact on registrants in higher bands with a view to extending the payments to those employees also.
