Conference notes that BiCon is an annual weekend-long gathering for bi people, their friends, partners, and others with a supportive interest in bisexuality. UNISON has been an active participant at BiCon for the last three years, providing advice on employment rights, promoting UNISON and recruiting workers into our union.
Conference welcomes the fact that in 2010, the UK hosts International BiCon.
Conference calls on the National LGBT Committee and branch and regional LGBT groups to take advantage of this organising opportunity.
Conference urges the National LGBT Committee and regional LGBT groups to begin now to plan for active participation in BiCon 2010, using this as an opportunity to build and strengthen links with national and local bi groups, recruit bi members and build their own bi caucuses.
