Conference recalls:
1.The resolution of the fourth National Lesbian & Gay Conference (1996) to instruct the National Lesbian & Gay Committee to produce and circulate to regional groups a detailed action plan within ten weeks of the close of conference; and
2.The resolution of the eleventh National Lesbian & Gay Conference (2003) to instruct the National Lesbian & Gay Committee, among other things, to:
A.Issue its action plan promptly after conference;
B.Issue it to branch Lesbian & Gay groups as well as regional groups; and,
C.Issue a follow up document in the summer to report on progress.
Conference believes this arrangement has worked well and regrets that the National LGBT Committee did not follow these instructions in 2006 so that branch and regional groups have lacked:
I.Detailed written guidance for their own programmes of work; and,
II.Authoritative information on work already in hand to help them draft motions for this conference.
Conference instructs the National LGBT Committee to resume complying with the 1996 and 2003 instructions.
