This Conference notes that despite last year’s Conference decision to produce joint guidelines to all Police Branches and Force HR Heads – no progress has been made on a formal agreed National protocol.
This failure has seriously disadvantaged the representation of our membership.
Conference therefore instructs the Service Group Executive to act immediately to:
1) Work with the employer side of the Police Staff Council to produce this information no later than National Seminar November 2005.
2) To contact ACPO and IPCC and inform them that there is no current National Agreement and Local Collective Agreements are in place
3) Ensure that this item is included on the agenda of the next Police Staff Council
