Conference believes internationalism is akey part of trade unionism and we have aduty to challenge abuses wherever they may occur. Conference congratulates Amnesty International and the International Lesbian and Gay Association (ILGA), in reporting these abuses, and ensuring that the rights of LGBT people to be themselves are asserted.
Conference calls on all branch and regional LGBT groups to get involved in this important work, by joining ILGA: www.ilga.org , ILGA European Region: www.ilgaeurope.org , and Amnesty International: www.amnesty.org/lgbt .
