This Conference recognises the enormous amount of work from both partners in agreeing the Terms and Conditions Handbook for Agenda for Change. Much has been done to modernise and harmonise agreements. However as previously indicated in the proposed agreement a number of former national agreements will now need to be agreed at a local level.
This Conference calls upon the Service Group Executive to:
1.Provide briefings and training on the implication of the new handbook for regions and branches;
2.Ensure monitoring of local terms and conditions with branches and with the use of the Bargaining Information System;
3.Prepare a shopping list of agreements to the re-negotiated/revised in the NHS Staff Council;
4.To report back to Annual Conference 2006 an outcome of negotiations.
