Rule D.2 National Executive Council: Functions and Authority
D.2.1 First sentence, insert at end “and a young members’ seat”.
Add new Rule D.2.5 Young Members’ Seat
“D.2.5 Young Members’ Seat
With effect from close of National Delegate Conference in June 2005, there will be an additional representative for young members elected from a national constituency of young members in all regions.
No member shall be a candidate for election to the young members’ seat unless she/he:
.1 will be aged 26 or under when the period of office ends as set out at
Rule D.2.6.1
.2 has received two nominations from any of branches, or regional young members’ forums or National Young Members’ Forum.”

Rule D.5.2 after “region”, insert “and the member elected to the young members’ seat on the National Executive Council”
