WET Health and Safety Seminar – 27 April 2023

The 2023 Health and Safety Seminar for UNISON members in the Water, Environment & Transport (WET) Service Group will be held on Thursday 27 April. The seminar will bring together activists from across the Service Group to take part in professionally coordinated workshops, share knowledge and experience, explore recent legislation and regulations, and network with other activists.

The seminar will cover a range of areas of health and safety relevant to members in WET branches, including the lessons learned from the Covid-19 pandemic and best practice; addressing fatigue and burnout in the workplace (including in the hybrid-working environment); mental health issues and establishing better employer policies and working environments; as well as strategies for organising around health and safety in the workplace.

The UNISON Water, Environment & Transport (WET) Health and Safety Seminar 2023 a one-day event taking place at UNISON Centre in London on Thursday 27 April. The seminar is open to all UNISON members in branches in the Water, Environment and Transport (WET) Service Group.

Branches can register members to attend the seminar via the OCS system – if you are a member who is interested in attending, contact your branch.

There is no cost for attending the event itself. The costs of travel or any accommodation required must be met by the branch.

The final deadline for registrations is Wednesday 19 April (midday). All registrations must be made via the OCS.

This is a member-only event, and registration is required. Places are strictly limited and registration mat be closed early if required.
