UNISON strategy meeting – developing our work for intersex equality

For past few years, we have been discussing, consulting and exploring how to ensure members born with intersex conditions (also known as Difference of Sexual Development/DSD) are fully included and have a voice in UNISON.

We are holding a strategy meeting on Monday 15 May, to develop UNISON’s resources on intersex equality.

We invite UNISON members who are intersex and their allies to apply to attend the strategy meeting.

The meeting will be a safe, supportive and respectful space.

If you are unable to attend the meeting but have experiences and ideas you would like to share, please send these through (confidentiality assured) before the meeting so your views can be represented.

Lunch will be provided at 12:30pm.

Our young members group works with other parts of the union to encourage recruitment, organisation and participation of young workers. The group also provides a powerful voice for young members and the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge.

This section is about equality for Black members. UNISON’s Black members group works with all parts of our union to improve equality in the workplace and challenge racism and discrimination.
