Together Against Trump: National Demonstration

13 July 2018 4:00pm–9:00pm

Junction of Portland Place and New Cavendish Street

UNISON will use the power of our 1.3 million members to stand up against Donald Trump’s racist, divisive politics and mobilise ordinary working people’s opposition to his UK visit.

The national demonstration in London is assembling in Portland Place at 2pm. UNISON members and supporters are meeting at the junction of Portland Place and New Cavendish Street, so keep your eyes peeled for purple.

We will march to Trafalgar Square, where there will be a rally from 5pm to 7pm.

Travel advice: To avoid the crowds, use Regent’s Park or Great Portland Street Station. Also, the Piccadilly Line will not be running because of strike action.

Travelling from outside London? The Stop Trump Coalition are organising coaches to London. Coach information on their website here

There are protests in towns and cities throughout the UK, not just London – take a look here and get involved locally.
