UNISON is balloting its 300,000 NHS members in England for strike action. The ballot is in response to the government’s decision to deny 60% of NHS staff and 70% of nurses a pay rise for the next two years.

From 24 March to 6 April, the TUC is running Fair Pay Fortnight, a series of events across the country that will raise awareness about Britain’s cost of living crisis
