UNISON’s Healthcare Assistants’ Seminar is a chance for Healthcare Assistants, Clinical Support Workers, Maternity Support Workers and all support workers in the NHS to come together, collaborate and learn more about action you can take in your workplaces.
This free, one-day event at UNISON Centre in London will host talks, Q and As and workshops, to give you the opportunity to:
- Share experiences with other HCAs from across the country and plan action to tackle issues at work.
- Hear from health leaders from the UK and abroad about the direction of the workforce.
- Learn how to take part in UNISON’s Pay Fair for Patient Care campaign, and successfully get you and your colleagues moved up to Band 3.

Further information
- This event is open to all UNISON members who work as Healthcare Assistants, Clinical Support Workers, Maternity Support Workers, or in any other clinical support role in the NHS.
- There is no charge to attend, but branches will need to cover any travel or accommodation expenses.
- Lunch will be provided, as well as refreshments throughout the day.
- There is no limit on how many can attend per branch.
