UNISON’s Annual Black History Event attracts up to 150 attendees and brings together Black union members, activists and the local community. The event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the shared history and the achievements of Black people.
UNISON’s Annual Black History Event attracts up to 150 attendees and brings together Black union members, activists and the local community. The event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the shared history and the achievements of Black people.
This year’s theme is Future Generations. We will be acknowledging the contribution of young Black achievers in Britain and also looking forward to the next generation with the Young Black Member Award presentation.
The day will include guest speakers, musical performances, spoken word poetry and displays of dance and dress.
