About this job

The postholder will play a central role in managing the UNISON Centre offices, providing services to over 300 staff and dozens of daily visitors, and the wider estate including residential and retail units and a public gallery.

The Facilities Administrator supervises the day to day activities of onsite security, caretaking, cleaning and engineering teams, as well as co-ordinating the work of external contractors.

Applicants should have experience of facilities tasks in an office environment, including safe working practices, risk assessment, fire safety and evacuation. Excellent customer service skills, efficient financial administration and good attention to detail are also essential.

There will be an occasional need to work during the evening and weekends so you must be available to work flexibly.
