About this job

 

As part of the staff team you will be responsible for developing and promote UNISON’s campaigns and provide communications support to staff and branches.

Working as part of a team, you will need to be able to work on your own initiative, to tight deadlines in a constantly changing environment. You should have relevant experience and skills in using information technology applications, including desk top publishing, but with particular expertise in websites and social media. You should also have knowledge and understanding of the media in Northern Ireland, the trade union movement, and a commitment to UNISON policy, including equality and human rights issues.

The ability to communicate authoritatively, accurately and clearly and with flair, conviction and diplomacy to a variety of audiences is key to success in this role.
