About this job

This job will involve working as the union’s Young Members Officer for about half the time and the remainder of the time will be working on general bargaining and equalities issues. The role is based in London (with some UK travel) working 35 hours per week.

The role involves advising on young members and equalities issues. You will champion the needs of Young UNISON members developing initiatives to promote their recruitment into trade union membership and acting as lead officer to UNISON’s National Young Members Committee. With extensive experience of current young members, organising and equality issues in either the public, private or voluntary sector, you will be committed to the work of trade unions.
