Full time facilities have recently been withdrawn by Lancashire County Council and as a result the Branch is facing a challenge, particularly supporting members, who work for Associated Employers.

Lancashire Branch is seeking to recruit an experienced and committed Organiser and Case Worker to help the Branch to represent and organise members in Associated Employers.

The role may also include work in Further Education Colleges and Academy Schools.

The Branch membership is approximately 12,000 and members are spread in the following sectors:

Lancashire County Council, Schools, Academies, Further Education Colleges, Associated Employers

To undertake this role you must be a committed trade unionist with proven organising, representational, campaigning, ICT, communication and administrative skills.

Access to a car is an essential requirement of the post as you will be expected to visit members across the county. You must live within reasonable distance of the County.
