About this job

The role will include the provision of administrative support to a number of staff, lay member committees and more generally for the team.  Candidates must have a good knowledge of general office practice and procedures as duties will involve committee administration including agenda preparation and taking of action notes.

 

You will be required to produce flyers, newsletters and other publicity and information, as directed, using Microsoft office applications and other technology. Having accurate keyboard and IT skills are an essential requirement for this role as is knowledge and experience of data systems.

It goes without saying that you will need excellent administrative, secretarial, communication and IT skills to succeed, in addition to having the confidence to work on your own initiative, and as part of a team.

An understanding of trade unions and their objectives would be an advantage.
