Staffordshire UNISON has over 6000 members working across the region, in local authority, further education and the private sector. We have an active group of stewards and experienced branch officers.
The Branch is looking for a Caseworker to advise, support and represent members of the branch employed within the non-core areas including the private sector employers. You will support the Branch in engaging with employers as required. Reporting to the Branch Secretary, you must be able to work on your own initiative. You will need knowledge of employment law, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and knowledge of the Trade Union movement, its aims and values. You should also have good IT and administrative skills.
The post will be based at the Staffordshire Branch of UNISON in Stafford.
The post will initially be for a fixed 12 month contract.
