About this job
The Business, Community and Environment Section deals with the membership covered by the Community and Voluntary Service Group, the Energy Service Group, the Water Environment and Transport (WET) Service Group and, the Private Contractors Unit. In addition, the section also incorporates the Bargaining Support Unit, which provides an information, bargaining research and bargaining support service across all areas of the union. The Team Secretary/Administrator will provide a range of clerical and administrative support duties across all areas of the section.
Skills/experience required:
- team player with experience of working in a pressurised environment
- good communication and time management skills
- proven secretarial skills
- experience of using office equipment/systems and a full range of IT packages
- administration of committees/ meetings and seminars
