About this job

We are looking for an experienced Events and Marketing Administrator for our Central London Head Office.

This is an exciting role which you will be able to grow and develop. You’ll manage and build UNISON’s meeting and events management function – a service which is already well developed for internal events and which is a growing commercial service for external customers. Duties include co-ordination of room bookings, hospitality and events services and management of all aspects of the events management administrative process including sales and marketing.

You’ll directly manage a small internal team and co-ordinate the activities of our hospitality provider. The post is part of the UNISON Facilities Management team, and as well as taking the lead in managing and developing the events service, you’ll be expected to support and be a key member of this team.

You will have several years experience of delivering events management and be prepared to manage the process from end to end. You’ll have a good working knowledge of health and safety at work and you’ll also be a competent user of events/meeting room booking software and Microsoft office packages.
