UNISON, Britain’s leading public service trade union, is looking 2 fixed term Area Fighting Fund Organiser working with our Kent Branch and our Andover, Basingstoke and Winchester Hospitals branch.
You need to be an enthusiastic, flexible and resourceful individual to support our growing organisation. The successful candidate will bring their experience and skills to the role and be able to develop and deliver recruitment and organising initiatives and campaigns in our branches, train and develop stewards, undertake case work, advise, support and mentor branch officers and stewards in representation and negotiation.
You will have excellent presentation skills and communication skills, both face-to-face and on paper.
A sound understanding of trade unions and their objectives is essential along with a good understanding of UNISONs policies and objectives.
You will be required to live within reasonable travelling distance of the area you are asked to cover

An assessment centre will be held on 17th September in our Brighton Office, candidates short listed to attend the assessment centre will be advised by 9th September. Candidates successful at the assessment centre stage will be invited back for a formal interview on 24 September in our Head Office in London
