This conference is the biggest safety rep conference in the UK, regularly attracting around 500 safety reps – almost half of them from UNISON
This guide should be used to ensure that employers consider female staff when developing any health and safety initiatives, such as carrying out risk assessments, planning new systems of work, work equipment or personal protective equipment. It can also be used to start raising awareness of women’s health and safety concerns among members.
