Commenting on the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) announcement today (Friday) that it is launching an investigation into structural race inequality, UNISON general secretary Dave Prentis said:
“It’s right that the EHRC investigates the deep inequalities in British society that the COVID-19 pandemic has further exposed.
“The government must commit to enacting all recommendations from this inquiry as a first step to tackling racism and other inequalities.”
