UNISON hit the streets to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Pride in London. With a particularly strong presence from Greater London region and Westminster branch, UNISON purple was prominent in the sea of colour on Saturday.
Marching from Hyde Park via Piccadilly to Horse Guard’s parade the event gave revellers “the opportunity for expression of celebration, joy and triumph but also the voice to rightly express the continued fight for those injustices and inequalities that exist amongst us.”
